AMS
Assured Mobility Simulator
AMS created a re-configurable, physics-based, data-driven, multi-vehicle simulation platform enabling RDECOM TARDEC to explore the effectiveness of:
- Individual vehicle performance parameters and specifications
- Combination of vehicles applied to a threat
- Single and combined vehicle survivability vs. various threats
AMS was user configurable enabling TARDEC to conduct rapid reconfiguration and vignette testing though the import of:
- Threat data
- Environmental data
- Vehicle data
Unique technology implemented pc-based dynamic terrain in the 2003 timeframe
The potential for transition of this technology to support training was recognized by TARDEC and passed to Ft. Leonard Wood.
